As the Custodian Chair of the Kimberley Process (KP) for 2025, the UAE is leading efforts to modernise, reform, and strengthen the KP under the 'Year of Best Practice' agenda. Building upon the success of the Year of Delivery, our strategic focus this year will be on elevating standards to strengthen the KP certification scheme through the development and sharing of best practices, to provide scalable models for adoption.
The Intersessional* serves as a crucial midpoint in this year's KP programme, offering a platform for KP participants to assess progress and tackle pressing issues impacting the global diamond trade. Join us as we collectively strive towards strengthening the KP and fostering positive change within the diamond industry.
